The Truth About Unlocking Happiness Within Myself

Unlocking happiness within myself has been a journey. For years, I felt like a spectator in my own life during menopause. Only in the past year did I realize how withdrawn I had become. I lived in a bubble, unaware of my isolation.
I spent years just existing, hiding behind a brave face. I was so blinded, that it never occurred to me to research more about managing menopause symptoms. I tried working with naturopaths and experimenting with different diets that brought limited results. Now, I understand my elevated cortisol levels, caused by stress, affected my progress. Everyone seemed to have a program or supplement promising a fix, but nothing seemed to be working for me.
I was miserable, so the feeling stayed with me. I was stuck in a vicious circle of negativity.
The Shift that Changed Everything
Something changed for me last year. I became mentally, emotionally, and physically ready to take control of my life. Sometimes, we must go through struggles before we find the right inspiration. I read, watched, and met people who resonated with me. These experiences ignited a fire within me. It was time to move forward and leave the past behind. I was stuck in a rut and I had to dig myself out of it. I had to use the strength I knew was in me.
I sought a community of women in menopause on social media. Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok became places of connection. I followed people who inspired me, but what was a major impact on my state of mind, was finding the Manifested with Kathleen Cameron FB Group Page. This group is exactly what I was looking for from a group. It wasn’t a group for menopause, it was just a group of like minded individuals. Wow! Kathleen’s own story is uplifting, so she became a mentor of sorts.
This group helped me start to feel better from within. I increased my daily gratitude and affirmation practice. Exercise became a priority, and I read books that deeply resonated with me. I was discovering me.
Embracing the Journey
For years, I believed that thoughts shape reality. Sometimes, I questioned this idea. However, I now see how my choices led me to this path. I have met incredible people, found inspiration, and began creating a life I love. The life I deserve. Unlocking happiness within myself keeps me motivated.
I believe spiritual, mental, and physical well-being are deeply connected. My journey centers on making a choice to live a certain way as part of my universal alignment. I continue learning about myself, embracing what brings me fulfillment.
Embracing this journey has been a beautiful milestone. The more I find to love about this time of my life, the easier it gets. The more I love myself, the easier it gets.
Unlocking Happiness is Rooted in Self-Love
Self-love became the root of everything I did for myself. I came to the profound realization that I had to love myself first and foremost before I did anything else. When I focused on that and then added spiritual practices, life began to change. One block built on another. I ate better. I moved my body because I loved it. I changed the way I thought about menopause. Instead of hating it, I embraced it, which made a world of difference. It wasn’t any one thing. It was a culmination of practices that began with the love I had for myself.
The journey to self-love, confidence, and fulfillment is just beginning. Unlocking happiness within myself has changed my life, and I am excited for what lies ahead!
